It will be on either Friday, March 25th or Monday, March 28th at their Mason location.

I took the screener ( short ) and didn't qualify. It was appearing to ask questions about pets (which I don't have ), although I am not positive that is what the study will be on. Also, I do not have a payment amount, but I do know they have always paid me nicely in the past for my time.

Hotspex - Surveys for Amazon Gift Certificates AND Online Offer Update

Surveys, surveys, surveys! I feel like that is almost all I have been blogging about lately.

If you haven't been able to tell, I usually write my blog based on what I am doing in my everyday life to earn and save extra money for my family.

My favorite method is Online Offers but, I have not been able to find any good Online Offers lately. So, Surveys and Market Research have become something I have been spending more time on lately and thus writing about more.

But, do not fear.........I have decided to start testing some of the new Online Offers that have come out over the past year. They are with companies I have not had experience with yet, so we will see how they pan out.

I have also decided that since so many of you have been writing me wanting to know when new Online Offers will come out, I will test them via my blog. Meaning? I am going to let you know which one I am doing and give you weekly updates on how it is progressing and when my money finally comes. This way, you can either follow along with me or wait and see how it turns out for me before starting.

Of course if things go wrong, I will report on that, too. Hopefully via testing, we will find some of these new companies to be legit and we can all begin earning more this year again. Look for an Online Offer update coming soon.

Until then, surveys are still one of my favorite money makers. And, one of the companies I have been a member of for years has finally made a change that warrants it being mentioned on my blog.

Hotspex

Up to this point, Hotspex has been a great company BUT they only awarded their BUX as rewards to be exchanged for entries into drawings for prizes. Since this was not a guaranteed money maker, I decided not to post about it over the last 2 years. I tend to usually only fill out surveys if I am guaranteed to earn and usually only share those types of companies with you.

Well, Hotspex has finally updated their rewards program and you can now exchange your BUX for Amazon gift cards. This is not a drawing but simply a way for you to use your accumulated rewards. Yay!

Click IQ Survey up - 150 Points

Click IQ has a 150 Survey up on their site. It took me about 5 minutes to complete and was very straightforward.

This is one of the few survey sites I remind members when I get an invite because they fill up fast! Other sites I will only put reminders out when a high dollar survey comes out.

If you ever get invites to surveys from Click IQ that I may not get, feel free to share the information on my Money Saving Methods Facebook wall here so others can benefit, too. I can then update my blog for non Facebook members. :)

Give your input on the Oil Spill

If you are like me, I can't stop checking in on the oil spill every day.

Tomorrow evening, President Obama will be giving a speech on the issue at 8Pm. I will be watching and listening to what he has to say tomorrow.

If you plan to as well, HCD Surveys released a 2 part survey tonight regarding the issue and the speech tomorrow. It is only worth 50 points, but on an issue that is of interest to many of us and it only took me about a minute to complete. It was just a few questions.

As if we don't all love Swagbucks enough, we now can earn additional swagbucks via surveys. In fact, it sounds like it is set up similar to all the survey sites we use now. You will take screener questions, and if you qualify for the survey you will be taken to the full questionnaire. Then, you will be rewarded for your time with Swagbucks.

To find out what surveys are available to you daily, they recommend you check multiple times a day. New opportunites can be posted to your account at various times during the day.

Remember, swagbucks can then be redeemed for gift cards or merchandise.

To get in on these new surveys, click here to register or login with Swagbucks. Once you are on your page, you will see the button Trusted Surveys in the left menu bar on their site. Click on that to register and begin checking your available surveys daily.

Don't forget, one of my favorite ways to earn with Swagbucks is to use their site for searching the web. If you use Google, Yahoo or some other site right now, consider switching to Swagbucks instead. You will earn swagbucks randomly for simply surfing the web.

Hot Survey Opportunities & New Survey Site - FGI Smart Panel

Today was a great day for my survey email inbox. Hopefully most of you logged into your accounts today, too.

If you have taken surveys for a few years like me, you know the highest paying surveys are those that give you access to online research panels. These panels usually last a few months on various topics. You log in a few times a week to answer some questions in a panel board with other participants and they pay you each month.

Usually, I am paid either via Paypal or Amazon gift certificates. Pay depends on the panel, but in the past mine have ranged from $5 to $20 a month depending on how many times I post on the board. The best part is it is not like taking a survey. You don't have tons of questions to answer but instead get to take part in actual conversations and give input on specific topics with others.

SOOO....

why am I rattling on about this? Just today I had two invites to online research boards. So, please be on the look out today or make sure you read your email over the next few days so you can take the screener, too.

Their surveys will come to you via email, like most companies. What I have liked so far, is when you take the survey you will get paid via Paypal. This is a nice incentive because you don't need to wait to you reach a set threshold to cash out.

For example, a survey I was offered in February was short ( a few minutes ) and only paid 50 cents, but they were paying it out if you took the survey and was accepted. No waiting around to get your money.

New Survey Site - Smarty Pants Panel

Another new survey site has popped up in 2010, and I ( of course ) joined it recently to see what it was all about.

Personally, I delayed sharing it because it seems like the site still needs a bit of updating as they get underway.

Today, though, I got my first survey from them and it was on a very appropriate topic for me. I qualified and was able to take my first survey with them.

For the survey, I am entered into a giveaway for 10 - $20 Target gift cards.

What I can't tell on this site yet, is how they compensate for surveys. Will it always be sweepstakes entries, or will they also be paying for certain surveys? I know many of the other sites do a combination of different type of surveys.

Since I haven't been able to determine that from their site yet, I am just going to play it by ear as each survey comes thru my email account.

Mobile Xpressions - Survey/Research Site

I have been having a good run on surveys. This week, I got paid another $10 due to Palm Research and got another check from My Survey. And, I am getting closer to cashing out on a few of the other survey sites.

I am always on the look out for more legit survey sites, so if you use any that I don't have listed feel free to share.

This week, I wanted to introduce a new site.

Mobile Xpressions

If you own a mobile phone ( and I am sure most of you do ) you may qualify for this research panel.

Mobile Xpressions is a research site that will monitor your mobile internet usage and application usage. It is similar to what Nielsen does for TV. Marketers want to see what sites/applications are widely used, what time for how long, etc.

If you have a phone and it does not allow you to access the internet, you can still register and request they send you an invite once they get a program up and running for your phone. That is what I had to do, since I only have an LG flip phone. Mine is a pretty basic phone that I got free, of course. :)

When you join, you will automatically be entered to win a prize. And, it is not a giveaway. You will win a prize, it just depends what it may be. You will win one of the following:

Synovate Survey Panel - Earn $

I am not sure why, but this has been a great survey year for me. I have found some new panels I was not a member of before ( I didn't realize it was possible for me to find new companies still, but apparently..yes..yes, it is ).

You may remember I introduced Palm Research earlier this year. And, I have done great with that company. In fact, the first week I was a member I was accepted into a survey that then lead to a discussion board. I have already been paid $30 for it, and they now contacted me and have asked me to take part in the 2nd portion. So, I have another $10 coming, and possibly $20 more if I am one of the top contributors during the discussion period.

So, I have earned a definite $40 thanks to Palm. Maybe even $60! :) I am quite happy.

Synovate Global Opinion Panel

Right when I found Palm Research, I was also introduced to Synovate's Global Opinion Panel. So, these were two new panels for me.

I had heard of this company, but for some reason didn't realized they paid you in points that could then be redeemed for cash.

Once I realized that I would be earning points for taking surveys, I jumped on board and signed up last week. On top of that, they mentioned that their surveys take between 5 to 10 minutes. I really like that, because often times surveys can end up taking a lot longer than that. I am all for quick surveys!

I wanted to see how it panned out on my end before sharing on my blog, and I am happy to report that I received my first incentive right away. They paid me 250 points to take a survey about myself.

Then just today, I received my first survey from them for 900 points. I finished it and it took less than 10 minutes, just as promised.

I will note, when you get your surveys they come from Marie Brighton. So make sure you realize that those emails are valuable survey invites.

Payout occurs at 5,000 points for $5.
