Give your input on the Oil Spill

If you are like me, I can't stop checking in on the oil spill every day.

Tomorrow evening, President Obama will be giving a speech on the issue at 8Pm. I will be watching and listening to what he has to say tomorrow.

If you plan to as well, HCD Surveys released a 2 part survey tonight regarding the issue and the speech tomorrow. It is only worth 50 points, but on an issue that is of interest to many of us and it only took me about a minute to complete. It was just a few questions.

Check your email tonight. It is titled Brief Online Survey - 50 points, International Disaster Study.

Remember, these usually fill quickly, so I will try to post here or on my Facebook page when I see HCD Surveys come up. If you see some I miss, feel free to let everyone know on the Money Saving Methods Facebook page, too.

Little ViewPoints - Expecting Moms & Moms of young kids needed

For those living in the Cincinnati surrounding area ( the Tri-State area ), this is a great time to sign up with Little ViewPoints panel. They belong to Market Vision Research.

If you are an expectant mother or a Mommy to a 36 month or younger child, Little ViewPoints is open to you for registration. You will be invited to participate in paid studies during the year, so if you qualify this is a great way to make extra money.

New Survey Option - Swagbucks

Surveys on Swagbucks

As if we don't all love Swagbucks enough, we now can earn additional swagbucks via surveys. In fact, it sounds like it is set up similar to all the survey sites we use now. You will take screener questions, and if you qualify for the survey you will be taken to the full questionnaire. Then, you will be rewarded for your time with Swagbucks.

To find out what surveys are available to you daily, they recommend you check multiple times a day. New opportunites can be posted to your account at various times during the day.

Remember, swagbucks can then be redeemed for gift cards or merchandise.

To get in on these new surveys, click here to register or login with Swagbucks. Once you are on your page, you will see the button Trusted Surveys in the left menu bar on their site. Click on that to register and begin checking your available surveys daily.

Don't forget, one of my favorite ways to earn with Swagbucks is to use their site for searching the web. If you use Google, Yahoo or some other site right now, consider switching to Swagbucks instead. You will earn swagbucks randomly for simply surfing the web.

$20 Consumer Say Panel Still Available

Finally, don't forget that the $2o Consumer Say Panel registration is still available. I got my free $20 a few months ago. Keep your eyes open for surveys they send out, too because you will then be entered for the 10 $100 American Express Gift Cards they award every few months.

My daughter grew like a weed, and I needed summer clothes for her this year. The girls clearance had some beautiful dresses ( great for church ), and cute summer tops. I got the $45 dollar dress above for $4.99 after the coupon. Ship to store to save even more on the shipping.

Next, when you cash out you will possibly get the $10 Rebate offer from JcPenney Savings Solutions like I did. You sign up for the free 30 day trial, and get the additional $10.

So, I bought some of the clearance summer shirts for my daughter with this additional free $10.

This is a trial you may just want to keep. I am strongly considering it myself.

Why? It is $9.95 a month ( that is $119.40 a year ).

BUT...you get $100 in Grocery Rebates that you can send in for at $25 a quarter. That means, you get $100 free.

On top of that, you can buy $25 grocery gift cards for only $20 each. You can buy 12 per store. So, if your grocery store is Albertson's, for example, you can buy 3 per calendar quarter for a savings of $15. For the year, that is a savings of $60 at your grocery.

But, if you also shop at other grocery stores, then you can also get 12 cards at those stores, too. That would be another $60.

Needless to say, the initial $100 plus just 12 gift cards from one grocery store is already $160 back. And, that is worth more than the $119.40 a year registration fee. If you buy more gift cards, then you just save even more and the program becomes more worthwhile.

Who wants a free iPad, valued at $499? Me, me!! :)

If you are already a member of Click IQ, you should have gotten the email yesterday letting us know about their new Refer a Friend program for the month of June.

If you are not a member, Click IQ is a wonderful survey company for a couple reasons. First, they pay you for every short screener you take, whether you qualify for the survey or not. It usually is around $.25 cents.

In fact, I just recently got my $25 payment from them. This is the minimum cash out threshold.

Second, when you do qualify for a survey, they are relatively short. I always appreciate this. Repetitive survey questions can really prolong a survey.

Third, they have a refer a friend program. I truly respect companies who not only have affiliate programs ( which only website owners/bloggers can take advantage of ) but also Refer a Friend programs ( which EVERY ONE can benefit from whether they have a site or not ). You will earn $.50 for each friend you refer to their survey site.

And for the month of June, you will get your regular $.50 per friend you refer but ALSO an entry into the contest to win the free iPad for each friend you refer. I like this because you STILL get your compensation but this giveaway is on top of it.

Kings Island Kids Club

For my local Cincinnati readers, you may be interested to know that Kings Island now has a Kids Club.

I have been hitting the park a few times a week (thanks to our annual passes ) with my two younger kids while my eldest is in school. And they love the new Planet Snoopy kids area.

So, I am excited to see what the kids club has to offer. The fliers they gave my kids at school said they will get really cool stuff from Kings Island this year and it is also a birthday club program.
