Wow. $723 in one week is impressive. Which ads do you use from Commission Junction? I am also a publisher. Thanks!
Hi Carrie! thanks- just ordered my Picaboo book-the code didn't work so they emailed me a new one (1PFMDB-BC)-don't know if that was a code only for me but may help out your readers.
Thanks Kelly,
I will update the other post with this code, too.
The $723 wasn't one weeks worth, but a whole month. CJ only pays monthly and in arrears. So, that was my November income from my website.
I only log my earnings to my Week In Review when I actually get Cash In Hand.
It just makes it easier for me to track and match up to my checking accounts, etc, as I deposit money.
With CJ, I use many, many, many different advertisers. Sometimes, I only get paid from them if they are running an exceptional deal, since that is the only time I will share their deal with my readers.
And, I also use many different affiliate companies.
How I end up making money is whenever I find a deal or a post I am going to do, I then do a search on their site or a generic search in Swagbucks for the company ( for example...let's say Barnes and Noble ). First, I would go to their site and see if they have an affiliate program. If not, I would type Barnes and Noble Affiliate in my Swagbucks search box.
If there is a program, I then sign up so that I will make something off of the post I am going to do.
If not, then I just do the post without an affiliate link, since there really isn't anything else to do.
But, you wouldn't believe how many companies have affiliate programs that don't even necessarily have them posted on their site anywhere. Always do a search before you post!
Click my affiliate button in the left menu bar for the companies I recommend and have gotten paid from in the past.
Thanks so much for your detailed response. I am still new at all of this. I did apply to two of the affiliates you suggested. I already have Logical Media. I am waiting to hear if I was accepted for the other two. Thanks again!
Well your weekly savings is great. I called Stamps.com yesterday (29) and they waived my membership for another month, gave me $10 in stamps and the scale. Thanks for the deal. :)
Wow! Better then a part time job!
I love this site. You have so much useful information.
