Hello! I'm just thinking about getting my feet wet for the first time in the online offer thing and wanted to ask you, for my first time, would you recommend I stick to one of the ones that are under your "online offers" button or could I try the $500 Visa card from e-Research Center if I followed your instructions as outlined in "online offers"?
thanks so much!

I'm a nervous first timer. I spent more then I intended... I got charged for some things that I thought were free trials. Anyway, it has been 30 days and I still have two offers pending so I emailed as instucted by the terms and conditions and the reply was less then helpful. They said they had no control over when offers are credited. They could not manually credit the account. Did I ask the wrong question? Should I wait another two weeks and try again? Thanks for you blog and advice.

Laura,

Thanks...I will update the post now.

Sarah,

All of them listed anywhere on my site should be on the Online Offers page. You need to make sure you read the general instructions, as well as the instructions for that particular company ( IDeal, Nuitech or Netblue ) to make sure you understand the whole process. But, the one you mentioned should also be on the online offers page, too.

Melissa,

What offer are you doing? If an Ideal, they don't credit you for ones that don't come thru.

Did you do IDeal? If so, make sure to head on over to my Online Offers webpage and read the special instructions for IDeal. Per their terms/conditions, they will not give manual credit if offers don't come thru..so I am assuming that is the company you did.

But, it sounds like you might have read the instructions for on of the others companies.

Let me know if that is not the case and I will try and help you out any way I can.

It's the wii and wii fit... I'm actually not sure of the parent company. If they don't manually credit, does that mean there is nothing I can do?

I found it. It's a Top Notch company. :) Thanks for your time.

Carrie,
I received a $500 Visa Gift card earlier this year. I posted a comment somewhere, but I don't think I'm included in your total.

I also received a $500 Shell Gas card LAST year, and am getting ready to work toward the $500 SEARS gift card right now!

Thanks so much for all this information. I'm with everyone else--there is NO WAY I would have ever tried one of these offers without you!!!

Hi Carrie: I'm not sure if you included my $500 Visa that I received a few weeks ago. By the way, YOU ROCK! As planned, we will use it on our vacation in Hawaii! Thanks for all of your help and encouragement!

I would love to try out for a $500 Visa Card! I'm due in less than a week and could use all the $$ I can get :)

I'll update the post to recommend one for newbies.

But, really, any of the $500 IDEal offers ( as long as they don't require referrals ) are what I always recommend new participants do first.

Anyone have issues with identity theft doing these offers?

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

I never have.

But, remember, when putting all your credit card information in, always use a virtual card number ( that means only that one company can use it...even if the number is stolen ).

Don't EVER use a debit card, etc.

Don't ever provide personal info on a site that isn't protected ( should have https at the beginning, too )

Besides your address and credit card number ( virtual ), you shouldn't be giving any other information online to sign up for these.

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

I guess I should clarify...if you decide to try a company like freecreditreport.com ( you know..those commercials on TV ), then you will need to give your social to get a credit report.

But, you can skip those offers if you are uncomfortable with that.

Hi Carrie - I'm thinking of doing the Mom's Club $500 from 123 Click. Since I've done Top Notch, do I use the same email or a new one? Also, do you think it's safe to assume it will be a Visa card? Would it be worth contacting Ideal to ask? Thanks for your help!

Carrie,
I received a double blessing in April when I received not one, but two Ideal rewards on the same day! Both were Ideal-Top Notch rewards: $500 Gas Cards and $500 KMart Gift Cards. Thanks so much for providing the information and instructions that have enabled me to contribute financially to our bottom line this year.

Amy,

It is up to you if you want to use the same email.

It is only required when you are within the same subcompany ( Top Notch, 123Click, etc )

And, I am assuming it is going to be a Visa, too. Not sure what else it would be...unless a Mastercard, AMEX or an actual check. Either way, any of those are fine with me. :-)
