Basically, this service, Brring.com gives you an alternate phone number for free. You can then give this phone number out to anyone....friends, family, survey sites, mystery shopping sites, online offers, etc.
When someone calls that number, they will have to listen to a short advertisement before
Brring connects them to your home phone/voice mail.
What is the benefit to you? Number one, you don't have to give your private number out anywhere. This is a great relief and safety feature. But, on top of that, you get $.05 for every all that comes thru., $.75 for each friend profiled ( not sure what this means yet ) and $1.00 per referral. Yes, that is true! What a great way to make some free extra money.
After you reach $10, you can cash out. I will be curious to see how long it takes to earn this. With all the phone solicitors that call me, probably not long.
Especially if you do a lot of online offers. You will notice your phone ringing with solicitors calling more. But, hey, who cares. Everytime they connect thru to you, you are getting paid. Woo, hoo!

Wow, that's great. I could handle telemarketers calling much better if I knew I was getting paid to answer the phone.
This sounds fantastic. I was very excited about the idea of earning $1 a phone call. However, when I went on the site to research I came upon this:

There are three ways to earn rewards. For profiling callers, earn up to $0.75 per friend profiled. For sharing your number, earn up to $0.05. For inviting people to use Brring, earn $1.00 per friend who joins up.
So you only earn a $1 when someone else signs up? Not per phone call received? Just want to make sure I am understanding it right or if I have missed something. Thanks and I LOVE your blog!

I only listened to the intro where it said up to $1 per call..I should have known that didn't mean I made a dollar per call. :-)

Earning money for incoming calls was stopped as of June 15, 2008. :(
