Walgreens

Yes, it is true. I am bumping this to the top again!

And, I know, I know...it is Saturday night and too late for you to go grab these deals, BUT I am hoping you took advantage of the $10 Off $40 coupon I posted here and hit Walgreens today or yesterday!

And, I wanted to post this, so you will realize how great shopping the Drugstores can be. Walgreens and CVS both have such wonderful deals, and you can get so much for FREE!

And, whether you choose to use the Grocery Game ( please use referral moneysavingmethods@yahoo.com ) as your means to find the deals at CVS/Walgreens or another methods, I hope you take advantage, too.

So, here is a picture, first of all, of everything I got.

  • Northern Toilet Paper

  • (6) Boxes of Wheat Thins/Triscuits

  • Chex Mix

  • (2) Boxes of Golden Grahams

  • (2) 6 pks of Motts Applesauce

  • Kraft American Cheese

  • Crest Pro Whitening Toothpaste

  • Chemistry Conditioner

  • Scrubbing Bubbles Gel

  • Shout Wipes

  • Windex Wipes

AND...the Grand Total out of Pocket to me after Sale Price, Coupons, Register Rewards and Rebates and Revolution Money Exchange Card reward was????

$2.47 ......and, $4 of that was Toilet Paper I HAD to buy...without coupons or on sale ( gasp! ).

So, start Walgreening!!

Meijer

I am bumping this post back to the top, because I hit the Buy 10, Get the 11th item free sale at Meijer today. And, boy was I pleased.

Combine this sale with coupons ( which they also double up to $1.00. But, only twice per coupon ) you can really get a steal.

I walked out with 12 products for $2.00 ( plus $.13 tax ).

Here is a picture:
Want to hit the sale before end of day Saturday? Here is what I bought:

There, of course, were many more items available in this promotion. The Grocery Game (please use referral moneysavingmethods@yahoo.com ) has them listed, and you can also click here to see Mommy Snacks deals at Meijers.

Kroger

Kroger had some great deals running this week, thanks to their $3.00 Off 15 participating products promotion. That is $.20 Off each item, when figuring out your cost. You can do this deal up to 3 times per transaction.

I know it is already Thursday night, but if you haven't hit the grocery yet, it is a good week to go. Plus, my Kroger Coupons arrived in the mail today...did yours? A lot of those coupons are for products that are in this $3 Off 15 deal. Yeah! So, I am glad I didn't go shopping until today.

I ended up spending $47 for $132 worth of groceries. It was a little over 60% off. Thanks to the Grocery Game ( please use referral moneysavingmethods@yahoo.com ), I am always saving 50% off or more on my groceries. And, this week was no exception. You can click here to read more on how this program works and how it will save you time and money.

But, as always, I did find extra deals on my own, and most combine the $3.00 Off 15 promotion and electronic, manufacturer coupon combinations. And, don't forget, all manufacturer coupons in our area Krogers double up to $1.00.

Here is another helpful piece of advice. If you are using Shortcuts and you see they have a coupon listed twice on $ off 2 or more type coupons...they will take the coupon off more than once.

For example, I had loaded (2) $.75/2 Panini coupons. I then bought 2 Panini's, and I was thinking Shortcuts would only take the coupon off once...but it didn't. They took the coupon off twice, thus $1.50 off 2.

I hope that make sense. Anyway, here are some deals finally! And, click on the picture to print the coupons that match. It can be found in the left side bar under coupons.com.

Prego Sauce - Reg $2.18 - Sale $1.77 -Manu. Q $.75/2 - Kroger $3 Deal $.20 -Final $1.07

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks - Reg $2.79 - Sale $2.00 - Manu. Q $.75/2 - Elect. Q $.75/2 - Kroger $3 deal $.20 - Final $.92

Hamburger Helpers- Reg $1.49 - Manu. Q .75/3 ( print above ) - Elec Q $.75/3...I had two of these loaded...so I actually got $1.50/3 - Kroger $3 deal $.20 - Final $.59 a box

Cinnamon Toast Crunch - Reg $3.19 - Sale $2.00 - Manu. Q $.75/2 ( worked, since I bought the Cheerios above ) - Elec Q $.55 - Kroger $3 deal $.20 - Final $.25

Philsbury Toaster Struedel - Reg $2.79 - Sale $2.00 - Manu. Q $1.00, print from the picture above - Elec Q $.50 - Kroger $3 deal $.20 - Final $.30

Nature Valley Granola Bars - Reg $3.39 - Sale $2.19 - Manu. Q $.75 - Elec Q. $.60 - Kroger $3 deal $.20 - Final $.39

Campbells Tomato or Chicken Noodle Soup - Reg $.73 - Sale $.60 - Manu. Q $.40/4 - Kroger $3 deal $.20 - Final $.20

( I have a great recipe for Stuffed Peppers or Stuffed Cabbage that used Tomato Soup...I always stock up. Email me if you want it )

Finally, if you are a local reader...the Kroger up on Rt. 4 in Liberty Twp had carts full of discounted Quakers Oatmeal ( $1.00 ), Pop Secret Popcorn ( $.50 ), Orville Red Popcorn ( $.50 ), Pringles ($.50 ), etc. It was amazing!! I had coupons for most of these items, and I got them for FREE! And, don't forget...recycle those bags. Click here to read how. I saved $.50 by bringing my bags in today.

Finally, most of these products included in the Kroger deal have Box Tops for Education or Campbell's Labels on them. I but mine out while I am putting stuff away in my pantry. I had $2.50 for my sons school today, plus over 80 Points in Campbell's Labels. Yeah! And, those labels should have electronically counted for my son's school, too. Click here to register for the e-Labels for Education program and support schools!!

As always, have a Happy Shopping Day!

This makes me wish I lived closer to a Kroger and Meijer (about an hour away I think to the closest). What great deals!

I have a question for you. My Ralphs which is like Krogers doubles coupons up to a $1 so if it is for .75 they double it for .25 making it a dollar off. After all that here is my question I noticed on my receipt that they didn't double everything that should have been doubled should I call them or go in and show them my receipt and see if they will give it to me? Also I realized that I didn't include all of my coupons is there a way to get credit for them or is it a live and learn experience?
If you have any experience on this that would be helpful. Thanks katie_mmartin at yahoo dot com.

I got a great deal at Meijer this week Carrie. I used the Kelloggs Fuel for School $10 rebate along with the Nutri-Grain deals and ended up with 10 boxes of Nutri-Grain bars & 2 gallons of milk for $5! I blogged about it here: http://momsbyheart.blogspot.com/2008/09/look-what-i-got-for-5-at-meijer.html
