Hotspex - Surveys for Amazon Gift Certificates AND Online Offer Update

Surveys, surveys, surveys! I feel like that is almost all I have been blogging about lately.

If you haven't been able to tell, I usually write my blog based on what I am doing in my everyday life to earn and save extra money for my family.

My favorite method is Online Offers but, I have not been able to find any good Online Offers lately. So, Surveys and Market Research have become something I have been spending more time on lately and thus writing about more.

But, do not fear.........I have decided to start testing some of the new Online Offers that have come out over the past year. They are with companies I have not had experience with yet, so we will see how they pan out.

I have also decided that since so many of you have been writing me wanting to know when new Online Offers will come out, I will test them via my blog. Meaning? I am going to let you know which one I am doing and give you weekly updates on how it is progressing and when my money finally comes. This way, you can either follow along with me or wait and see how it turns out for me before starting.

Of course if things go wrong, I will report on that, too. Hopefully via testing, we will find some of these new companies to be legit and we can all begin earning more this year again. Look for an Online Offer update coming soon.

Until then, surveys are still one of my favorite money makers. And, one of the companies I have been a member of for years has finally made a change that warrants it being mentioned on my blog.

Hotspex

Up to this point, Hotspex has been a great company BUT they only awarded their BUX as rewards to be exchanged for entries into drawings for prizes. Since this was not a guaranteed money maker, I decided not to post about it over the last 2 years. I tend to usually only fill out surveys if I am guaranteed to earn and usually only share those types of companies with you.

Well, Hotspex has finally updated their rewards program and you can now exchange your BUX for Amazon gift cards. This is not a drawing but simply a way for you to use your accumulated rewards. Yay!

If you are not a member of Hotspex yet, I highly recommend it. One of the features that they promote strongly is that you are an innovator when you become a member since you will get to have input on new products and services on the market.

So Nuitech, I-deal, etc don't have online offers anymore that you now need to test new companies?

Saph,

They are still out there, but the requirements have changed to the point where I am not posting them.

For example, ALL IDeal offers right now ( even for the low dollar ones )require 2 referrals on top of all the offers you have to do.

This means, you have to do all your requirements and then refer 2 friends who ALSO have to do all their requirements or you don't get your gift.

I have never really promoted the referral online offers on my site. Not because they can't be done, just because they are much harder and I think the risk of relying on someone else to do their part is too high.

I am still keeping my eye on both companies, and if they begin releasing offers with requirements more in line with Do It Yourself offers, I will post them again.

The new companies I have found are Do It Yourself sites, but I just need to verify their legit...so testing must begin. :)

Hi Carrie!

Just wanted to thank you for being willing to test some new online companies. I did 2 offers through your site and with your instructions last year & was very pleased with the results -- two $500 gift cards.

But I agree that the referral deals are too iffy, yet I'm not as organized and experienced as you to feel comfortable trying on my own. Can't wait to see your results!

I see. Well that stinks that they only have referral type offers now.
I definitely wouldn't do those. Like you said, it's too much to have to rely on your referrals to do the requirements also.

Never heard of that company, but I prefer companies that let you cash out in cash as well.. not just giftcards. What are online offers? I think I know what you're talking about, it's those offers that GPT sites have, but instead you fill out the actual offer for the gift?

Does that require that you sign up for trials etc?

Just curious, cuz it sounds interesting, but I just don't risk my credit card online so I don't do any trials.

TriNi,

Click on the Online Offers button in my left menu bar to read all about them.

I have made approx. $20,000 from them and my other readers have made in the thousands. You can scroll down to read the Bragger post to see all their pictures with their gifts, etc.

I came to your site today specifically to ask you about what was going on with online offers, and I saw this post! Thanks to you, I've made over $2500 on online offers. You're the best resource I've found in this area, and I would have never even tried it without you. Thanks for the updates.

Hi I just wanted to let you know that I just finalized all the documents for the Sony Vaio Laptop offer. I met all the qualifications and mailed in the voucher today. Hopefully I should get the laptop in 4-6weeks! I'm very excited. I have been wanting a new laptop!

Hi,

I have been familiar with your site about a year now and have never actually attempted an online offer. I just decided today that I would come back and try one...only to read the disappointing news about i-deal changing their terms. Have you had any success at finding other valid offers? Are there ANY out there I can try? All of the links on your online offers page don't work anymore.

Thanks so much!
