I just read the fine print on the HSBC offer and it says in order to qualify for this offer you must have been an HSBC customer since Sept 8. What a bummer...I was going to open an account today to take advantage of this! But I thought others looking at this might want to know!
Yep, I just saw the same 'fine print'. :(
How do I now get my money I deposited back? Any suggestions? I should have gone with my instinct and checked before opening.
Thanks Adams Family! Good catch!
Lisa,
It is your account, so still your money. :)
You can use the debit card they give you to buy stuff and buy stuff that way.
Don't forget, this is a great high interest account and their hope is when users open these accounts they will use them and see if they can be of benefit.
And, you never know, they may have the great bonus come back again sometime!
