$25 ING Direct & $25 College Advantage Bonus

I am so excited to post another $25 ING Direct Bonus! For those of us who got in on the last one, it was nice to get $25 free simply for opening an account. We didn't need direct deposit nor did we need to jump thru any hoops. In fact, the money showed up in our account very quickly. No waiting games, either.

This is a great one to start with if you are new to Bank Offers. Why? Because of the reasons I stated above. It is a very low investment with no direct deposit required, or debit card transaction to complete. A great way to get your feet wet!

Want to know why I love Bank Offers? Click here to go to my webpage and read all about benefits to your family financially. I also advise reading this page before you start your very first offer, so you understand how to track, manage and utilize your new accounts. Every banks have unique features that may be beneficial to your family. I love many of my banks for many different reasons. You can also go to this page at anytime by clicking the Bank Offers button in the left menu bar.

Also, click here to open your free Quicken account to manage your accounts here before starting, too. It is important to start out right, tracking your accounts.

ING Direct Savings - $25 Free

  • $25 Bonus for opening a new ING Direct Savings
  • $250 initial deposit
  • Scroll to the bottom of this post to submit your information to request a referral for your bonus

Wait! That easy? Yep. That easy! Please do check with ING Direct before withdrawing your money, as they may require you to keep it in their account a set amount of time.

And, seriously, this is a great account for your family. Why? The savings account is a High Interest account. If you currently have money sitting in a savings making nothing at your local bank, consider moving it to a High Interest Account.

On top of that, they have a great referral program. Once your account is set up, consider opening an account for each member of your family. And, let all your friends know, too. You get $10 for each person who opens an account. Refer a Friend programs are great ways to earn extra!

College Advantage - $25 Free

  • $25 Bonus for opening a new College Advantage 529
  • Must open with a deposit of $25
  • Must enter referral number. Scroll down to sumbit your request for a referral
  • $25 will be invested in your College Advantage account
  • Do NOT need to be an Ohio resident.
  • Expires May 31st, 2009

This is a fun promotion that was around last year, and I loved it. First, we all know how important I think saving for my children's college is to me. And, we set up these accounts for our children and have been investing in them every month.

Now, this gives families the jump start to invest for college. And, it doesn't have to be for your kids! Remember, you can set up accounts for your grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc, too.

The best part, once you set your account up you also have a Refer a Friend program with College Advantage, too. This means, for every person you refer, you will get a $25 bonus and so will they, up to $500 a year! So, spread the word!

Hey Carrie,

I have an account for my son and daughter, and an old Roth IRA of mine at ING. How can I get the $25 referral bonus? Can I refer my husband? I'd like to open our joint savings account for our emergency fund, but want to get a bonus. Do you have any others (with higher bonuses) coming up that you know about?

Misty,

There are a few $100 or more Bank Bonuses in March out there. But, alot of them are for specific state residents only.

I am going to try and do research this week for some new March offers for next week's post. So, hopefully we will have some large ones. :-)

In regards to ING, to refer someone...log into your account. Then, you need to get to the page that actually shows all your activity. At the very bottom, you will see a Refer a Friend button. Click there.

Call ING Direct tomorrow and see if your kids account can refer your husbands.

If not, email me and I can send you a referral link for the $25. But, definitely check on your accounts first, as you could potentially then get $25 for his account and your kids could get $10.

Beverly,

Your email address keeps bouncing back, even when I try to directly email you..and has from both College Advantage and ING Direct.

Can you please verify it and make sure it is correct or see if you have some type of block on your email that would cause emails to bounce back?

Thanks...
