Time of another weekly installment of my Mystery Shopping segment.
This week I am introducing Game Film Consultants.
Don't be fooled by the name, the mystery shop invites I have been receiving have not been for Game Shops, or anything along those lines.
They have actually been for restaurants.....my all time favorite mystery shops. Yum! Who doesn't want to get a free meal out, right?
Before you sign up, if you are new to Mystery Shopping and my site, please click here or go to my Mystery Shopping button in my left menu bar. You will find instructions on how best to prepare and apply for these shops.
In the side bar, you will also find other companies I have shopped for or are in their system. Click on any of the images and it will take you to the sign up page or instructions on how to sign up for that particular company.

I notice that on the printed coupon it states "May not be combined with any other offer" Is the rebate not considered another offer? Also, I like to keep my receipts in case things go on a better sale, etc. but if I have to send the receipt in for a rebate, what do you do? Can they issue multiple receipts for a single transaction? Thanks for your help. I have learned so much from your site and have saved SO MUCH money since starting to use these methods in November. THANKS!
I assume you are talking about Walgreens? Just wanted to make sure, since the comment was under the Mystery Shopping section.
You can redeem for your rebates online. This means, you do NOT send your receipt into Walgreens. You simply log in and enter the items, and the receipt number..and Walgreens automatically processes the rebate then. Plus, this saves on stamps.
With the exception of online purchases. If you purchase online, like I just did, then you have to actually file your rebate thru snail mail.
The Walgreens rebate is not considered another offer. You can stack all Rebates with coupons. Those Walgreens coupons are like their sale prices. This means, you will pay the price of the item with that particular Walgreens coupon and not another sale price ( if that makes sense ).
Since most items you get at Walgreens make a profit ( if you pick and choose wisely what you buy there ), even if you had to turn in your receipt for online purchases...really, there aren't many better sales!! Who can complain about walking out of a store with free products and extra money. Yeah!!
Love Walgreens!
I think you will be pleasantly surprised, once you get the hang of shopping there. It actually gets addictive.
Thanks for posting this mystery shop. I signed up with them and already have a shop scheduled in a couple of weeks.
I decided to try signing up for this and there's nothing available in my area, Washington State. Do they seem to stay within certain areas or may there be something that ends up being in my area at a later date?
Betsy,
Every company is different. I have signed up for some that didn't have anything in Ohio, then 1/2 year later they did.
My rule of thumb is I sign up with them all, that way if they ever have a shop in my area, I can apply.
Carrie, does this company pay you for doing the mystery shopping or is it just the reimbursement of your expenses. Either is good; I'm just wondering how it works.
Stacy,
Each company you are working for will be different. What I mean is...they could have you do a shop for one restaurant one night that is only expenses, but a different rest. might pay a bit.
You always have to look at the payout before you apply for each shop. It will have it broken down for you, so you know what you are getting into before you apply for the shop.
