Tag Time

I have been tagged for another fun blog post. It is Things About Me! Thanks to Andrea at Mommy Snacks for thinking of me!

So, here goes...

4 Things I was doing 10 years ago:

• Got engaged...the highlight of my year!
• Working at NCR Corporation...and loving it... ( I truly do miss working sometimes )
• Living in an apartment with my girlfriend Carrie ( yes, the same Carrie over at Carrie's Cooking ). It was always quite confusing when someone called and asked for Carrie??? Which one?
• Started the building of our first home. We had figured out floor plans, colors, etc...all that fun stuff! We wanted it to be completed when we got married the next year.

4 Things I was doing 5 years ago:

• Planning my 1st born son's 1st Birthday Party ( almost 5 years to the day )
• Pregnant with my Daughter & constantly getting sick
• Quit my job at NCR
• Adjusting to life in a new town...making new friends...getting involved with Moms Club for the 1st time, etc

4 Things I did Yesterday:

• Babysat a good friends kids ( so I had 2 - 5 year olds, 2 - 3 year olds, and 2 - 1 year olds.) It was a lot of fun, and we switch babysitting back and forth...so next week is my turn to head out without the kiddies. Thanks, Lili! I can't wait!
• Worked in my flower gardens, of course. Planted some petunias, transplanted some evergreen bushes, transplanted some snap dragons, weeded, set up my new hose and hose bucket ( no more hose reel for me..I have a pretty new decorative tin the hose goes in ).
• Took care of my son, who came home from school with a fever! Sorry, Lili...hope your kids don't get sick.
• Held him on the couch and told him we could watch a new movie, he has never seen before. ET! Boy, was it funny to watch it again after all these years. They had a Speak and Spell on there. I totally forgot those things existed. I bet my mom still has my old one packed away somewhere!
