$20 Free Amazon.com Gift Card for Registration!

I am happy to report that the $20 Reward is back up on Lightspeed Panel again this year.

Over the years, I have mentioned that I have earned $20 for a VERY quick survey/registration with Lightspeed Panel in the past. This is actually the third time I have taken part in this research project for Lightspeed Panel, although this is the first time that it is with their very own company Consumer Say! In the past, they conducted this research thru another research company.

$20 Amazon Gift Certificate Free

To get your $20 Amazon gift certificate, click here to register with Lightspeed Panel first. This is the original and core survey group. Hopefully, many of you have already registered with this company previously.

If/when you are registered, log in and check your Survey Invites for one simply titled Consumer Say. Click on that link to be taken to the site and register.

Didn't get the invite in your Lightspeed Panel account after a couple days after your registration? Go here to sign up directly.

So, why do they give this $20 away each year?

Well, because they are going to be tracking your purchasing patterns over the next year. When you set up your account with them, you give them basic demographics ( that you would give with any survey you take ) and then you register your credit cards so they can track all your spending in accordance with your demographics.

Personally, I post all my shopping/saving information on my blog anyway, so I don't mind sharing for research purposes. Especially since I know I SAVE so much and spend so little. I kind of feel like contributing to research to prove that their our people who live within their means, like all of us! :)

On top of that, Consumer Say will be sending it's own unique surveys to you over the course of the year. So, check your Survey account regularly for more chances to earn or win!

Now, go have fun spending your $20 on Amazon!

To read about all the survey companies I recommend and how to earn money with this method, click here or go to my Survey button in the left menu bar at anytime.

Thanks for this. I didn't have this one showing up for me, but did follow your instructions. Either way, good to know they do this.

Anne,

Did you fill out the form? If so, I will go send you the invite now!

Let me know if it doesn't come thru.

Thanks a lot, Carrie! I registered too. The invite did not appear for me either. It looks like a nice survey site (quick and simple).

Not a problem.

Make sure to check for the extra $20 reward for St. Patty's Day, too.

It will ask you to register your checking account. Mine showed up today ( a day after I registered with the panel ).

I also am already signed up and didn't see the invite for this. Any ideas?

Gisel,

I get surveys from them often. At least a few times a week. If you log in and go to the member tab, look over at the Surveys section. Nothing there?

If not, make sure all your personal surveys ( under the Surveys about You section ) are completed. That should help trigger surveys.

If that section is already done, then click on the Contact Us tab at the bottom to send them an email asking why you don't receive invites and if there is anything you need to do your end.

Let me know what happens.

Jennifer,

Did you fill out the request form in my post? If so, I will get the information to register to you.

I did see one Jennifer had requested info, jrpatters, was that you? If so, I send you the information earlier today.

If that isn't you, just make sure to fill out the form.

Is the ConsumerSay thing say to do?

It feels weird giving someone access to my checking and credit card info. I trust your judgment though!

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

Did you mean safe to do? I am assuming. :)

When giving private information out online ( even when logging into your checking account, signing up for Mystery Shopping, etc ) ALWAYS make sure it is a secure site.

The address will have https. If it only has http, do not enter private information.

Also, make sure your current protection on your own PC is updated, too.

In regards to their company holding your information in their databases, when you are on their site, you can go to their Data Security link on the very bottom of the page to read more.

Does this mean hackers could never get your information? Well, nothing is full proof.

But, that is the case at your bank, your credit card company, etc. They could have hired someone that is not upstanding ( although we hope not ).

But in regards to the security of this company, they are an upstanding survey company. And, I have done this same study in the past and have never had issues.

Those times, they even linked to a third party research company ( which I verified was also an upstanding company ).

But, with all things personal, you need to personally weigh what information you are comfortable providing survey and market research companies.

If this is not within your comfort zone, I definitely wouldn't do it. $40 is not worth it if you are going to be worrying about your information. :)

Hope all that info helps!

Hi Carrie,

Its Gisel again. I checked an there were no surveys available to me. Is there a way i can still participate in the $20 survey?

Gisel

Gisel,

Yes.

Follow the directions in my post above for submitting your info to me, and I will get the link emailed to you tonight.

Don't forget to contact them, though, and ask why you aren't getting surveys weekly.

Thanks, Carrie! I received the invite from you and completed the information. I also noticed the St. Patty's Day offer and did that, too. =)

Any idea when these rewards will come - and is teh second $20 (for St patty's day) also an amazon GC? (THANKS for the offers, by the way!)

Hey Carrie,

any idea if they'll deposit using Paypal? I won't give them my credit card or bank info, I've had my info stolen too many times.

I signed up anyways, didn't see that particular survey though,

I started to sign up for this but stopped when they asked for my bank account info...you have absolutely no protection or recourse if someone, either at the survey company or elsewhere, takes that information and empties your bank account. I'm sure this offer is probably on the up-and-up, if Carrie has done it successfully, but I just think it's foolhardy to take a such a chance.

Is this offer still available? I signed up for the Lightspeed panel last week but did not get an invitation and then i requested an invite from your website a couple days ago and still haven't gotten anything. Any other suggestions?

Carrie @ Moneysavingmethods.com said...

It should be. Let me go check the invites and see if you are on there. I will get it mailed out to you if it is.
