First of all...Uh, OH. I started a new book! And, it is a doosy. VERY LONG!
Needless to say, I will still be doing my posts each day, but if it takes awhile for me to email you back or update my comment section, bear with me. You know what I am like when I sit down with a new story..I can't seem to do anything else.
Second of all, this is not a Money Saving Post. This is a "Let's Help Someone Else w/ their Money Post"
Meaning, if you don't have a paycheck coming in, it is hard to make money and have a worry free life, right?
I would like to start by saying, when I officially started my blog in January, I had a small readership. I mean, seriously, I was ecstatic when I had a couple readers a day. And, very quickly, I met some of my first faithful and loyal readers. And, for them, I will ALWAYS have a soft spot! They not only encouraged me, they helped me figure things out, and assisted me in learning the ins and out of blogging.
So, to Andrea at Mommy Snacks, Carrie at Carrie's Cooking and Heather at Freebies 4 Mom...I will forever be grateful! I am sorry if you ever get tired of me mentioning them in posts, but well, it won't stop. I am forever in debt to these lovely ladies. Please check their sites out and feel free to support them in their endeavors, too!
But, in addition to them, I met another fellow blogger, Marly at Who Am I, that truly has been one of my favorite readers and blogs to visit? She was always encouraging and made me felt "thanked" for my time spent blogging. Needless to say, the time I spent reading her blog always had me laughing...she definitely is witty and hilarous!
But, even on top of all her humor, her family is dealing with the issues many families deal with in our current economy, and that is unemployment. Her husband has been searching for a job in his field for sometime, to no avail. I believe he is at 9 months now. And, in fact his resume is quite impressive. I am sure it is very frustrating.
Right now, they are willing to uproot their family to move anywhere for a job. And, with that said, he has started his own blog to help in his job search. In fact, it was actually featured in their news. Click here to read.
And, what am I asking of you, my readers? Click here to go to his blog. Read his resume and if you know of ANYONE in that field, can you refer them to his blog? The more people who view it, the more likely his resume is to get into the hands of someone who needs his expertise.
So, I apologize this post is off topic from my norm...BUT...God Bless Marly's family as they continue on this difficult journey, and maybe, just maybe, one of us will be able to help them out!

Thank you for passing something like that along...if I was in that situation, I would be ecstatic to know someone took the time to add me to part of their day.
I've forwarded his resume to the only contact I had...hopefully it will help!
Thank you so much for forwarding it on.
Since blogging, I have just met so many wonderful and helpful people around the US, and it is wonderful when we all take the time to help each other.
Thanks again for doing that for them!
Carrie, this is great! I love his idea of using his blog to promote his resume. I will have to keep this in mind if I'm ever in the same position! I'm forwarding his resume to two people who might be able to help. I will pray for him that something works out for them soon!!
Carrie - what a great thought! I'm going to round up some resources I have from my HR days and send off to them.
And, thanks for the help on my reader issues - it worked!!!!
Thanks Lorelei and Andrea.
Andrea,
Glad the fix worked on the Feed issue. I had the same problem months ago, so I figured it was probably the same issue.
Carrie, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. It has been a couple of days since I have stopped by, and in catching up today, you have taken my breath away. Your kindness is truly appreciated. Thank you. :)
Hey Marly,
I meant to post this so long ago...but I just kept hopping something would work out with the contact I gave your from Ohio. Wouldn't it be nice of me to be stingy and make you move to Ohio so we could be neighbors.
I will need to email you the details on all of that.
I hope all of this job searching ends soon!
