$5 Free Target Gift Card w/ Insurance Quote

This isn't the greatest offer ever, and I am not even sure if it is open to everyone. But, all you can do is call and ask. The worst they will say, is no! My motto, always check in on deals...just in case!!

First of all, I got a mailer today from Xavier University, where my husband got his Masters. They said we could get a $5 Target Gift Card if we called into Liberty Mutual to get a quote PLUS we would qualify for a discount though the University.

So, it claimed to take about 10 minutes and I would make $5, right? You know me, I can't pass up free money or gift cards...even if it is only $5!

So, it indeed only take about 10 minutes. Maybe a little closer to 15, but I'm not complaining. :-)

I had my current statement from 21st Century handy to give them all the needed information, and I was good to go.

Alas, the quote came in just $9 higher per 6 months than 21st Century. I had a feeling it would be higher, because as of yet, no one has compared with 21st Century for us. You can click here to read my original article about the company.

Anyway, this offer did come from Xavier University. So, if you graduated from there, the number to call is 1-800-901-4216. We did have a personal invitation number, so if you don't have one, I would simply ask them if you would qualify for the $5 Target card if you don't have the number. They may be able to look you up as a student or past student.

For those of you who didn't attend Xavier, I would still give it a try. When I did a search online, it appeared that many Universities and Colleges were offering this same $5 Target Gift Card deal with a quote.

Although they mentioned Xavier University when you dialed this number, the operator told me that all the calls came to his same call center. So, if you just want to check, call the number and tell them your friend told you she got a flier for a $5 Free Target Gift Card with a quote, and is that open for you, too.

Also, ask if they have discounts for the college or university you or your spouse attended, or either of your employers. I also had him check my husband's employer discount, and it wasn't as high as Xavier's...surprisingly.

So, once again...I am more than satisfied with 21st Century with their wonderful discounted price for my family, but I was more than happy to let someone else give me a quote for $5.

By the way, the offer is not good for AK, GA, HI, MA, ME, NJ, NV, OK, SC, TX and UT.

If anyone gives them a call to check, leave a comment here to let us know if you were able to qualify for the free $5!
