$200 in Free Money from Chase Bank

I bumped this to the top again. Please re-read if interested, as I found a site where you can get your own codes! Chase Bank. This is a very well known institution and I think we can all say we have heard of them. But, have we all been getting the monthly requests to open a bank account with them? Well, I have! Over and over and over again. And, each time I get the request, they also send me an invite with a $200 bonus if I open the account with a minimum of $100.

Many times over the last year I have kept that mailing with the intent of stopping by a local Chase office and opening the account for $100 and getting my $200. It is such a great return for the investment. But, with toting 3 kids around, I just have never found the opportunity.
Finally, I was clearing through my "to do" file folder and came across the mailing again. It had an expiration date for this month and I really wanted that $200. But, when? Well, on and impulse, I decided to log into Chase online. I went through the online process of opening a checking account with the intent of not finishing the process if I didn't come across a spot to input my $200 promotional code.

But, I did! And, as soon as I entered the code, it made a note of the free $200!
So, here are the details. You must open a Chase Free Checking account. For it to be free, you must set up Direct Deposit. You must open your account with $100 minimum deposit. You must initiate a direct deposit ( payroll, social security or pension ) within 60 days of opening the account. OR....you can choose to have at least five debit card purchases posted to your account. The account must remain open for 6 months.

Of course, read all the terms and conditions.

So, here is what I did to get my free $200? I opened my account online within minutes. I deposited $101 ( just to be safe ) from my credit card. My husband is allowed to send direct deposits to 4 institutions through his company, so I had him set up $10 a paycheck to this new account. Six months from now ( unless I find some need for this account ), I will close this account out.

So, if you get these mailers, I highly recommend you open your account for the free $200. If you don't get these mailers, I get them ALOT. I currently have 2 other coupons for the free $200 sitting here on my desk, so they are open to anyone who wants them. Email me, and I will send you the online code. And, as I get more throughout the year ( if I do ), I will make sure to post them for others. Gone, Marly and JC got these two codes...congrats!
In addition, I did find some more information on bonuses for opening bank accounts. Go to Maximizing Money and check out all the banks, bonuses and money you can make. They have a $125 Offer from Chase Bank. Not quite as good, but still pretty darn good, if you ask me. I do want to mention, I have not personally used there site yet, so please read all the terms/conditions for any bank bonus you sign up for from their site.
I plan, in the future, to work on getting my free money from the local banks...one by one. Between our normal checking, investment accounts and now this Chase Account, my husband is maxed out on the amount of Direct Deposits his company will allow for now.
Hope you can benefit from this information, too. Enjoy!

Hi! First, I want to let you know how very much I appreciate your site. You have saved (and made) me a lot more than I was managing on my own. Thank you!

Also, I would love to take advantage of this Chase offer, but am unable to directly connect to your email. Would you please send the information (or, if you've already given it away, the next time you have it) to: marlylynk at yahoo dot com? Again, thank you!

Marly,
I just sent you an email with the code. Please let me know if you don't get it.

Also, as a note to others. They charge $22.95 for checks that they will deduct from your $100 deposit. So, it looks like the profit is a little less than $180. That is OK, I will still take it.

Carrie,

Do you have one more code? I'd very much like to have it, please. Please e-mail it to me at frugal.chic AT gmail DOT com.

By the way, I just have to verify my two little deposits and I'm done with Revolution Money Exchange. Thanks again!

Hi Frugalchick...I am actually out of codes. But, I will add you to the top of my list. If and when I get a new one in the mail, I will email it to you. It seemed like I was getting them about every month or so. That may stop, since I finally opened an account, but you never know.
Glad you got free money from the Revolution Money Exchange. Don't forget Obopay for another free $10 ( or $25 if you refer a spouse, etc and have them sign up, too ), if you haven't already done it.

To Amanda Joy H, if you are reading. I have gotten your emails first about Revolution Money Exchange and now about this bank offer. For some reason my emails keep bouncing back. I didn't want you to think I am not answering you.
If you can put my address in your friends addresses, maybe they will go through. Let me know if that is possible.
So sorry!
