$5 Free in Cash from Magazines.com

It's back!!!!! Thanks Mary Beth, for letting me know!!!

Yay! My favorite Magazines.com email! $5 Free!

Remember my rule of thumb on being successful on saving and earning money from home, sign up for every and ALL newsletters and free loyalty programs available! Companies are constantly sending great coupons and freebies, etc.

Magazines.com is one of those companies that periodically thru the year send out free $5 gift codes that can either be redeemed on a magazine purchase OR...and here is the kicker.....for a check.

Yes, it is true. I have done this twice before. You simply request a check instead, and they mail you a $5 check.

Crazy but true!

So, here is what to do. If you have been a reader of my site for awhile, you probably are already signed up with Magazines.com to receive their promotions.

So, check your email box today. You may have received an email titled $5 Gift Card Enclosed. Spend it on Grandma!

Open that and your gift code should be listed.

If you would like to get $5 off a magazine order click here.

Right now, they have a few that you could get next to nothing with this $5 off. Go to the under $10 tab and shop around.

If you would rather receive a $5 check in the mail, click here and enter your request. Your check will arrive in your mailbox, delivered right to your home in 4 to 6 weeks. Yay!

New to Magazines.com and want to get in on these future promotions? Click here. Once you are on this page, click on the Log In button in the upper right corner. Scroll down on that page and click on the area that states you have never ordered with Magazines.com but would like to create an account. Done! Remember, I always recommend having all newsletters sent to a "deals" email account that does no interfere with your personal account.

Enjoy your free money or almost free magazine, no matter which you choose!!

Thanks Carrie, this is my first check in the mail, I don't know why I missed this before. I am glad I caught this time around.

Thanks for posting this! I had received the email with the gift code and was going to buy a cheap subscription, but cash is even better!

Thanks, Carrie. I had received the e-mail, but deleted it, because I had decided against even a cheap subscription.

Luckily I was able to retrieve it and sign up for my check...thanks!

I've been subscribing to your blog for a few months now. I just read through my e-mail, read your post and thought oh I should sign up for that. Then I went to check something on my local craigslist. In the free section, someone listed a free code for a $5 giftcard from magazine.com. I sent them a quick e-mail and they e-mailed me back the code. Craigslist just paid me $5 thanks to your blog!!!! THANK YOU

Kristi,

How lucky is that? I bet that poor person had no idea they could redeem it for a check. :)

So many people just disregard those gift certificate codes.

is it to late for me to get in on this deal if i do not currently have an account set up with them?

Esha,

Usually, it is too late.

I alert everyone to these every time they come out, so new members to my site can sign up for the newsletter and get in on the new one.

That, and many don't realize they can get cash for the gift certificate, and trash them in their email....uh, oh...don't want them throwing free money away!

So, sign up for their newsletters and keep tabs on my blog. I will let you know when the next one comes out.
