Free Top End Cosmetics from Department Stores!

Long time readers may recall I am always on the look out for Class Action Lawsuits that I qualify for in regards to getting refunds, free products, etc.

Today was one of those days. On the news, they announced a Cosmetic Class Action Lawsuit. When they announced they are giving $175 Million Worth of Free Cosmetics away, I was intrigued. Would I apply? I sure did!

What are the requirements?

  • Current resident of the United States
  • Purchased below Department store cosmetics between May 29, 1994 through July 16, 2003
  • Products purchased: Click here and scroll towards the bottom to the Manufacturer Defendants and brands sold by the Manufacturer Defendants section. I used to buy Clinique, so I qualified. Yeah!

Starting on January 20th, you can go to any of these locations to get your free products for 7 days, or while supplies last:

  • Dillard’s, Inc.: Dillard’s, Maison Blanche, Gayfers, J.B. White, Castner Knott, Bacons, McAlpin’s, Lion, Root’s, The Jones Store Company, Joslins, Hennessy’s, de Lendrecie’s, Glass Block
  • Federated Department Stores, Inc.: Macy’s East, Jordan Marsh, Macy’s West, Bullock’s, Rich’s, Lazarus, Goldsmith’s, Burdines, Bloomingdale’s, The Bon Marche, Stern’s, Broadway, Emporium, Weinstock’s, Abraham & Strauss
  • Gottschalks Inc.: Gottschalks, Gottschalks Inc., Harris-Gottschalks

You can choose one free product. What are your choices?

No application necessary.

You just show up and pick your free product.

I would print a copy of the website, though, just in case you get a clerk that has no idea about the lawsuit.

But, that is why they stressed it is while supplies last!! First come, first serve.

Honesty policy I guess....if you didn't buy those products during those years, don't go get a freebie.

I wonder if they will last the full 7 days before they run out?

My aunt works for Estee Lauder and her counter got some Advance Night Repair for next Tuesday. She only got 15!

OOhh...I guess I better be there when the mall opens.

I had a feeling this wouldn't last the full 7 days.

I mean, come on, free high end make up? How often does that happen!

Thanks for this post! I was able to snag a goodie from Macy's :)

Our Target store said they were not involved in this lawsuit though..just as a heads up.
