Super Saturday Savings! Free Theatre Tickets

First, my apologies for not posting yesterday. BUT, I hit Barnes and Nobles and bought 3 new books. If you have been a longtime reader, you know what that means!! I can't put my books down and reading takes over my life.

Anyway, I did want to get my Super Saturday Savings post out there today, BECAUSE if you don't take advantage of this deal on Monday morning, you possibly lose out.

So, first, thanks to Laura posting a comment letting us all know about this deal. And, I did want to give it an entire post, since it is SOO worth it.

This coming Monday, at 10 AM, you can go here to request your very own FREE tickets to Theatres in multiple cities across the United States, including my very own Cincinnati! Yeah!

For example, in Southern Ohio, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, The Human Race Theatre, The Know Theatre, New Edgecliff Theatre, Falcon Theatre and the Xavier Players are all participating in this program.

What other cities are offering the Free Night of Theater?
  • Atlanta
  • Austin
  • Boise
  • Cincinnati
  • Cleveland
  • the state of Connecticut
  • Indianapolis
  • Kansas City
  • Lexington
  • Los Angeles
  • the state of New Jersey
  • the state of North Carolina
  • Oregon (in Ashland and Eugene)
  • Philadelphia
  • Sacramento
  • San Diego
  • San Francisco
  • Seattle/Greater Puget Sound
  • South Carolina/Charleston
  • states represented by Southeastern Theatre Conference (including Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, Virginia and West Virginia)
  • Utah
  • Washington D.C.
  • Wisconsin
  • Baltimore
  • Chicago
  • Dallas
  • New York City

And, if you think these coupons will be around for long...think again! Last year, I read that 250 tickets went in 20 minutes! Yikes!

I marked my calendar for Monday, so will get a reminder to log in Monday morning to "hopefully" get my free tickets. I plan to be there right at 10 AM!

Click here to access the webpage Monday morning in order to get in on the fun, and enjoy a nice evening out at the theatre.

Not sure when your actual show times are? You can go here to take a look around and see what shows may be interesting to you.

Hope everyone enjoys!

Carrie, I think the time and date vary, because for Miami, FL it is on October 1st at 2:00 pm. I have never participated in this so I am excited. October is filled with freebies apparently, because my alma mater FIU is giving FREE football tickets to alumnae as well when requested. So exciting to get all these free events. I hope I can cash in on the FREE theatre. Thanks so much for this!

Hooray! I got tickets for myself and my husband on my birthday. And tomorrow I'm going to try for tickets for DC. We'll be there in early November! Thank you so much!

Congrats!

I got 2 tickets to Playhouse in the Park for a "date" night. I am SOOO excited.

I haven't been there since college, I think. Or, right afterward...anyway...good 10 years!

I am thrilled to be getting a free night out with my hubby!
